Food Science Carnival 2025-2026 A Delicious Success: Highlights from the STEAM Carnival

The Food Science Carnival wrapped up this January with a massive burst of energy and flavor!

Students joined the event as ‘Junior Food Scientists’ to help Chef John solve mysteries in his kitchen using the power of science. They visited different booths to complete exciting missions, such as making colours ‘dance’ in Magic Milk and using Beetroot Ink to reveal hidden messages. They also learned how to paint with different concentrations of coffee and they used red cabbage juice to see liquids change color like magic. One of the most popular activities was the Elephant Toothpaste experiment, which created a fast-moving burst of foam.

This carnival was a fantastic way to show that learning English through science is fun, engaging and memorable!
